This day sucks-give me a drink, a nap, and a clear head
Today was a strange day. This was not a day that was productive. This started yesterday because of Denise being sick. Well, actually both children were sick and then passed it on to Denise and we are both not feeling well now. This picture is out of proportion, which is how I felt all day today.

This is kind of how I felt today. Weird
Apparently this is something like the flu. I don’t want to admit it if this is the flu. The point is that I have not been able to get anything done today. Well, I did get one tomato plant in the ground, apply for a job, and ran around picking up the kids. I still need to work on the 1st major project for class, work on the new clients website, and finish working on the photos for the other one, besides trying to get another one going. I just can’t concentrate very well on anything. I have to get focused tomorrow so I can get something done. I think I may be heading to other places to apply for a job. I really have so much to say, and yet, can’t think straight long enough to get the words out. My back hurts. Maybe my head is spinning because of the sickness and the drugs. I have more energy now than I did earlier this morning. Thanks afternoon coffee. Thanks psuedo…stuff. Thanks nap. Thanks food. I am now going to put some pen to paper and see what happens, maybe the writing will be cool.
Oh the stuff I have to do.
Well, I guess this time off has served some good purpose. Friday I was able to stay home with Devri after I took her to the doctor. They don’t know if she has strep or not. The chances are high for strep so she is on antibiotics. She is doing good now after a few times of vomiting.
I have also hit the pen to the paper again. That means that I have been writing more each day. I pulled out a story I started about three years ago. I surprised myself with how much stuff I had. My folder was filled with pages and pages of character descriptions and story lines and text and text. A good number of pages exist on the computer, actually the thumb drive, and that is a good thing.
I have to finish it this time. I have to complete what is bugging me and bugging my head. This is just one that I have started. There is still another on the shelf that I will have to pick up later. The real problem is getting to know the characters again. I used to think writers were crazy when they said they were glad to get the characters out of their head when they were finished with something. Now I know what that means. For me, I have to get to know the characters all over again. Maybe this time i will be able to see them in a different light. Maybe this time I know more to fill in the blanks. That is what has been filling my mind lately.
Anyway, had to do some homework today as well. I love wrapping my mind around how to punctuate a compound, complex, and compound-complex sentence. woo hoo.
But, I enjoyed a little time in the garden today. I have planted the onions, spinach, radishes, and carrots. Oh, the big one is that I finished the fence to keep the dog out. Yes, we have three dogs, but there is only one that like to get up in the garden and into the compost: Bailey. (loud booing sounds)
I cut the top off the plastic guard fence. The plastic fence was not long enough. The top 10 inches was not needed so I cut it off and then filled in the hole back and forth a few times. I was able to put three layers in part of the hole.
Celebrate because of the milestone
This is my 101st post. See, instead of making a big deal about the 100th I am celebrating the 101st. Yeah, This is a lot of fun. Everyone should come join the fun of this parade. Everyone should come join the celebration of this party.
Anyway, David is sick. I am still looking for a job. I have been writing (on paper), applying for jobs, reading Harmonic Wealth, and trying to stay sane. So far so good.
